Did you know that many houseplants hold symbolic meanings representing friendship, love, or prosperity? Additionally, houseplants also symbolize growth and change. Because of this, we think a program on houseplants is a great way to kick off our “Learn and Grow” Series for 2024.

In this workshop you will learn the following:

• The 10 easiest houseplants anyone can grow
• Benefits—including healing powers— of adding houseplants to your décor
• Which houseplants will add drama to your home
• How to care for houseplants—common houseplant challenges that you will learn how to overcome. This course is a make-and-take event! We will be building a dish garden. You will select from our vast array of vessels, plants, and decorative accents to make a personalized special dish garden for your home or gift.

Course cost: $49.00. Includes a $20.00 Gift certificate to use for supplies to make a dish garden.
Class tuition is non-refundable unless the class is canceled by Gasper Home & Garden Center.
